It started maybe such a long time ago.
The era of the golden flower power.
Ever since then it was necessary to show
every second, every minute, every hour of the day,
that we must hold on to the idea that
we all can create …. music for peace

There was this guy who sang of peace while staying in bed,
to generate awareness for understanding, peace and love.
He showed us posters at Christmas and he kept singing
“War is over if you want it” - what we all want so bad.
But countries keep killing the white dove,
while we all want to get: music for peace.

Music for peace in this world. Yeah!
Music for peace for everyone. Yeah! Yeah!
For every man and woman, for every boy and girl.
Let’s get together and get it done. Yeah! Yeah!
So spread the word, that’s what it’s worth
for everybody here on earth.
Let’s make … Music for peace!

Not only at Christmas we all have to remember
the necessity for all of us of staying aware
of the need for understanding. The need for love & peace
for all colours & religions; for people everywhere.
So keep preaching “the word…. is love”.
Let’s work together and do it with : music for peace.
