We ruin our planet! World's leaders don’t succeed in saving it. For years now. Baby boomers have failed, big time. Results are ecological disasters, poverty, global economic failure and… wars. Change is needed. Change brought about by future generations. That's what 'One World One Heart' is about. A song about change, peace, togetherness and humanity. And saving our planet. Will our children and grandchildren create the much-needed One World with One Heart? Will they clean up our mess? They will. And you know what? They can't do any worse than we did! So don't be indifferent towards our youth. Help them to do better than we did. Support them, like they will support one another. They need our support. For One World. For One Heart.

A heartbeat in music…
Singer, songwriter, producer, musician and sound engineer (at his studio ’StudiOjo’).
After singing in a boys choir when around 16 years old, he took up the guitar with a vision of writing his own songs. He wrote his first song in 1975.
Mario became the lead singer of various pop-, rock-, and blues bands. Mario focused more and more on songwriting, singing, arranging, producing and recording music. He also started coaching bands and singers.
Mid 90’s he founded the a cappella group ‘4-Out!’ singing covers with 3 female singers. Late 90’s Mario partnered with pianist Theo van Hulst in the duo ‘TheMa’ and they released 2 CD-albums in 2001 and 2006.
Since 2019 Mario also writes life stories/biographies that are published as printed books.
Mario’s personal website is www.walzberg.com. You'll find a lot more information about him there.
After his daytime job ended in 2003, Mario embarked on a career as singer, songwriter, producer and sound engineer, starting his studio “StudiOjo”. Mario got more professional in recording, mixing and mastering (for professional- and amateur-) bands, vocalists, singer-songwriters, choirs, instrumentalists, party-groups, voice-overs, etcetera.
He also started coaching vocalists, bands and voice-overs, and advised on ‘how to’ … studio recording. He established the ‘StudiOjo Singer Songwriter Stimuleringsfonds’ (S4, an incentive fund) where singer-songwriters could record an original song for free.
StudiOjo has recorded more than 3,000 people in over 20 years. A notable feature is that in 2023, Mario welcomed the American singer Martha High for recording one of her albums. This “Goddess of Soul” was one of James Brown’s background singers for 32 years! Martha returned to StudiOjo several times for new recordings. Other well-known visitors include P-Funk/Funkadelic guitarist Ricky Rouse, Garrett Shider (vocalist), and Bennie ‘The General’ Cowan (horns), all of whom coming over from the U.S.. For more info visit the website www.studiojo.nl.
Mario wrote over 100 original songs. Some in collaboration with among others Vera Kramer (singer on the first album by the world-famous DJ Dash Berlin) and musician/composer/producer Ronn van Etten (www.ronnvanetten.nl) who published several songs on Music For World Peace Records as well. Mario’s songs are available on streaming services. Several songs were made in collaboration with songwriting group TrippleNotes'. And there’s almost 3 hours of (50 of) his own original songs on YouTube (both are updated only through 2019).
All songs were produced and recorded in StudiOjo. Although some songs were co-written, almost all songs are sung by Mario.
“Making Music Moves Me Most” Mario frequently says.
